In this model, E (the electric field) is like the mind (a person's intention), and B (the magnetic field) is like the inner energy (chi). The Tai Chi classics say, "The Mind moves the Chi, the Chi moves the Body." In the abstract model here, the chi and the body are not separate.

The difference to me seems that when the mind moves up and down my body, the chi moves in a torus around my body, unlike the magnetic field circling a wire with a current running through it.
